This system enables comprehensive 2D and 3D planning for control and switchgear design. It serves as the basis for automation and industrialisation in control cabinet manufacturing. Using EPLAN Pro Panel, we design and construct control cabinets, switchgear systems, and power distribution units for energy supply – all in a 3D environment.

Smart Mounting streamlines the manual installation of mechanical and electrical components in control cabinet assembly.Precise work instructions and 3D visualisation make cabinet assembly faster, more accurate, and more efficient.

Smart Wiring is our virtual assistant for manual wiring in control cabinet construction. The software provides digital access to all relevant information – from connection points to exact cable routing, even in 3D visualisation.

With EPLAN Preplanning, we collect engineering data as early as the preplanning stage. This includes, for example, actuators and sensors for systems, machines, or buildings. The software allows for the quick generation of data sheets and specifications for material procurement. The data gathered can then be reused seamlessly throughout all subsequent planning phases.

EPLAN Fluid is our engineering tool for the design and automated documentation of fluid systems – including hydraulics, pneumatics, cooling, and lubrication. The software supports multiple engineering approaches, from manual design to standardised, template-based workflows. Once recorded in the schematic, the project data forms the basis for the automated completion of machine and plant documentation.

With EPLAN eView, projects remain accessible to all stakeholders across the entire value chain – from engineering and production to assembly, service, and maintenance.

For cable design, we rely on EPLAN Cable proD – a specialised solution for fast and precise cabling of machines and production systems. The software digitises the entire design process and supplies all the necessary information for manufacturing and assembly. Pre-assembled cables can be integrated directly, minimising material waste, reducing potential errors, and enabling efficient plug-and-play implementation.

Control Cabinet Construction & Hardware Installations

Depending on the size of the system and any special protection requirements (e.g. explosion protection), we design and manufacture custom control cabinets tailored to each project and its specific customer requirements. After the control cabinet has been completed, our qualified electrical technicians carry out all necessary on-site installation work.

Based on the client’s request, we can perform either the complete electrical wiring of all main devices and assemblies, or only internal system wiring up to defined transfer points. Our technicians are also available for additional electrical services of any kind.

Functional & Initial Testing

Once installation is complete, we conduct an initial inspection in accordance with DIN EN 60204-1:2019 / VDE 0113-1:2019, as required for the safe operation of industrial equipment. For systems installed or commissioned by third parties, we also offer these safety and compliance tests as an independent service.

Retrofit Solutions
